Formula Student is an international educational project, organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers with the aim to develop engineering design abilities among students and train professionals, ready for creative challenges.

For more than 40 years, this project has been the largest unique design competition in the world!

For one year, teams, consisting only of students, work as a car manufacturing company and produce specialist sports cars in a small series.

A team constructs and builds a prototype that best matches given criteria, which are renewed every year.

The competition complements the students' theoretical education with a challenging and intensive practical experience in designing and manufacturing as well as considering the economic aspects of automotive engineering.

The value of the project is the unique opportunity to use the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom and develop a race-car prototype.
