Formula Student’s Sporting Director spoke about the ideology of the competition

“I am a graduate of the MADI team and almost my entire professional career after university was influenced in one way or another by Formula Student. The competition gave me plenty of competencies, its fair to say, that helped me with employment. The very ideology of the project implies the transfer of knowledges from professionals to younger students” - said Andrei Plakhotnichenko, Sporting Director Formula Student Russia.

He expressed his admiration for the students participating in Formula Student, who manage to study, work, and build a full-fledged car in a year.
“Formula Student is not a one-time competition, but a full-fledged project. Every year, students present a new car, which is assembled from scratch. In addition to engineering project, they must present a real business plan to the judges. The judges, in their turn, take on the role of investors”, - stressed Andrei Plakhotnichenko.

The organizers of the contest play live communication between judges and participants as colleagues with colleagues, because this is an excellent opportunity for the students to gain valuable knowledge, and for the judges to share their experience.

Andrei is convinced that participation in Formula Student is an excellent contribution to the engineering future for the srudents.
